LENTEN Adult Education Opportunity
ANXIOUS FOR NOTHING Do you know people in our church who struggle with anxiety? Perhaps you have even had a difficult time yourself in overcoming certain fears. Have you ever wondered if it’s really possible to be “anxious for nothing,” as the apostle Paul said in Philippians 4:4–8? Together we will explore Paul’s words and see they really do provide a treatment plan from God on how to live without worries. While anxiety is
a part of life, it doesn’t have to dominate life. With God as your helper and his promises at your side, you and your church can discover a life of calm and develop tools for combating the onslaught of anxiety. This is a 5 week study written by Max Lucado & our Wednesday Evening Sermon Series will reflect these themes. This class will be offered on Wednesdays beginning Feb 17-March 24(no class 3/17 due to spring break). Wednesdays at 11:00am on Zoom and Wednesday evenings in person at 6p.m. You will need the book & study guide. Suggested offering is $15. Please call the office to register by Feb 10 so the items can be ordered in time.
