Children’s Ministries

After not having Sunday School for a few years, we are restarting our Sunday School program for Pre-K through 6th grade student. Here’s the information you need to know:

Q: When does Sunday School start?
A: The kick off date is September 12, 2021. We will be celebrating with ice cream sundaes 

Q: When does Sunday School happen on a normal Sunday?
A: Classes start at 10:00am. Volunteers should be in their classrooms by 9:50am. 

Q: Do I need to register my kids for Sunday School?
A: Please do! It helps us keep track of numbers for ordering supplies. You can register your kids and register to be a Sunday School volunteer with this link

Q: What is the L.I.T program?
A: L.I.T stands for Leaders in Training. It’s an adjusted Sunday School program for 5th and 6th graders to hone their leadership skills and prepare them for confirmation classes. 


Q: What is Ignite?
A: Ignite is St. Olaf’s Wednesday evening education program. It focuses on food, fellowship, renewing education, worship, and fun.

Q: Do I have to pay for the food?
A: Nope! It’s completely free. There is a free will offering if you want to help offset our expenses.

Q: When does Ignite start?
A: Wednesday, September 8 is our 2021 kickoff date. It’s free and you can register your kids or register to volunteer here:

Q: What’s the schedule?
A: 5:00pm: Ignite Cafe (yep, this is a free meal you can share with your family)
6:00pm: Ignite Pre-K through 6th grade classes & Confirmation classes
7:00pm: Worship in Sanctuary

Childcare is available from 5:30-7:30pm in the Nursery. 

If you are looking to Ignite your faith, please join us on Wednesday nights and feel your spark become a flame!

Note: if Ignite is cancelled for any reason, that night’s menu will be moved to the next week.
