New Custodian

Welcome to our new custodian, Ron Anderson. Ron and his wife Peggy live here in Fort Dodge and have two grown children. If you see him in the building, please introduce yourselves. Ron just started this week and he is already putting things in good order!

AUGUST—USE OF THE CHURCH
Currently the sanctuary is open to weddings / funerals / small group meetings in sanctuary, and scheduled worship meetings, a maximum total of fifty people. Masks are required. Masks, social distancing, and sanitization practices will need to be maintained at all times of use. You will need to sanitize the areas you use at the end of services and meetings. The Narthex and Narthex restrooms are also open.

COMMUNION & BAPTISM
Until such time the church council deems it safe these sacraments are currently available only in the event of a dire emergency.

HOSPITALIZATIONS
Unity Point in Fort Dodge is allowing pastors in at this time. If you or a loved one are hospitalized please contact the church to be added to our prayer list. We lift up those names each week in worship. Pastor is also willing to pray and visit over the phone. 

STAFFING
We are seeking the following job candidate,

Now that we are able to put the VISITOR on our website or into your e-mail, please notify the church office if you would like to discontinue your mailed copy – this will help us save on postage. Thank you!

CHURCH CALENDAR
Please note that with the changes caused by COVID-19 the church calendar needs to be reset as all the individual groups decide to return following the shutdown. Please be sure to notify the church office of events that need to be placed on the church calendar. This will reserve your time. Meeting areas and maximum number of attendees will follow the same requirements as Sunday services.

SERVICE BULLETINS, ANNOUNCEMENTS, & BROADCAST
During the COVID pandemic hardcopy bulletins and announcements will not be handed out. Please print copies or feel free to bring your phone or tablet to services. The weekly copies will be placed on the St. Olaf Lutheran Church, ELCA Facebook page and One Call e-mail addresses each week as well as the St. Olaf web site www.stolaffd.org. You can still watch the Traditional Service on our Facebook page later on Sundays or listen to it at 10:30 am Sundays on KVFD 1400 AM radio.
