COMMUNION

Communion will be handled in the following manner for everyone’s safety. As you arrive, individual baggies of the blessed elements will be on trays at the entrances. Please pick up one for yourself prior to the start of the service. During the services (1st and 3rd Sundays), we will all consume together following a second blessing of the elements within the service. PANAMA TRIP

God is working on our house—our church home—our church family—as St. Olaf begins a new mission opportunity in Panama. You may remember Jorge Flores. He was a translator at our Nicaragua mission site over the last several trips. Nancy Hamilton and our Sew Sisters have gotten to know this family and the people of Panama through the technologies of the internet. We’ve had several Zoom visits and it became clear that—Yes, God was calling us to go. We can TALK about walking from the tomb to proclaim the news, but it’s a whole other thing to pack our bags and GO! The beginning of June – Nancy Hamilton, Kim Peimann, Emily Wikner and Pastor Emily will be heading to Panama. They ask for your prayers as they travel.

CAPS FOR PANAMA

Men and boys in Panama appreciate caps very much so those of us going there in June want to bring as many new and gently used caps as we can collect. It doesn’t matter what wording is on them. A lot of us have more than enough so let’s give some away. It’s hot and sunny in Panama! You’ll find a collection box just outside the church office door. Thank you!

MOWING TEAM VOLUNTEERS

Volunteers are needed to build a team of mowers that will rotate during the summer keeping the lawn mowed at church. The old proverb is true ‘Many Hands Make Light Work’. It’s a great way to tithe with your time and talent. Please call Craig Hamilton for information and sign up! 515-570-3719.
