BIBLE STUDIES

BIBLE SUNDAY
Join us on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at the 9 am service to support our third grade students as they receive their first Bible. We hope that as they grow up, they will come to know how much God loves them through reading the scriptures.
If you are the parent of a third grade student and have questions about First Bible Sunday, please email Emily Wikner at christianedemily.stolaffd@gmail.com.

MONDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY
Join us in the Fellowship Hall at 10am on Monday mornings for adult Bible study. We are finishing our study through the book of Daniel. On February 1, we will discuss Revelation 1. Please contact Emily atchristianedemily.stolaffd@gmail.com if you want to receive supplementary study resources. Please wear a mask and sanitize your hands when you arrive.

LENTEN Adult Education Opportunity
ANXIOUS FOR NOTHING
Do you know people in our church who struggle with anxiety? Perhaps you have even had a difficult time yourself in overcoming certain fears. Have you ever wondered if it’s really possible to be “anxious for nothing,” as the apostle Paul said in Philippians 4:4–8? Together we will explore Paul’s words and see they really do provide a treatment plan from God on how to live without worries. While anxiety is
part of life, it doesn’t have to dominate life. With God as your helper and his promises at your side, you and your church can discover a life of calm and develop tools for combating the onslaught of anxiety. This is a 5 week study written by Max Lucado & our Wednesday Evening Sermon Series will reflect these themes. This class will be offered on Wednesdays beginning Feb 17-March 24 (no class 3/17 due to spring break). Wednesdays at 11:00am on Zoom and Wednesday evenings in person at 6p.m. You will need the book & study guide. Suggested offering is $15. Please call the office to register by Feb 10 so the items can be ordered in time.
