An avid and versatile musician with equal love for solo and ensemble music, Skye Matthew Hart has performed

Dr. Hart was Faculty Associate in organ at Arizona State University for the Fall semester of 2020. He is currently serving as West Regional Councilor for the American Guild of Organists, a non-profit music organization that seeks to bring organists together and promote this music to the larger community. He is committed to helping improve the world through music, teaching, and exchanging ideas in a meaningful way that helps others feel valued and engaged. As Dean of the Central Arizona AGO, he championed the Chapter scholarship program, which provides musical instruction to gifted young musicians at no cost to them; he also helped organize a residential summer camp for young organists (POE) and hosted summer camps for young string players for nine seasons. As a solo organist, Dr. Hart was a semi-finalist in the International Organ Competition Agati-Tronci in Pistoia, Italy (2008), and semi-finalist in the National Competition in Organ Improvisation, Montréal, Québec (2017).

Dr. Hart will be performing at St. Olaf on Tuesday evening October 19th, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.

This Concert is free and open to the public. It Is sponsored by the St. Olaf Lutheran Church Foundation in commemoration of the 25th Anniversary of the Dobson Pipe Organ Builders, Lake City, Iowa, rebuild of the St. Olaf Organ.
