He has lived his whole life in Fort Dodge except for three years at Loras College in Dubuque. He owned Clean All with his former spouse for 31 years and now is sole proprietor of Slim Jim Window Washing. Together Jim and his wife Mindy have six children and nine grandchildren. He and Mindy cherish time spent loving on the grandkids, gardening, traveling, hiking and especially dancing. He enjoys working with youth, visiting shut-ins, and preaching God\u2019s Word. I have been involved in childcare for 20 years including being an in-home childcare provider and as a center director. I absolutely love working with children! I am working on my master\u2019s degree in Management and Leadership so that leaves little time for hobbies, but we do love camping and sitting by a lake. Mr. Swedlund also serves as Director of Sacred Music and Liturgy for Holy Trinity Catholic Parish of Webster County, Iowa and as a Realtor for Coldwell Banker Associated Reality of Fort Dodge, Iowa. He studied organ with Dr. Marilou Kratzenstein at the University of Northern Iowa,  William Kuhlman and Dr. Gregory Peterson both of Luther College Decorah, Iowa. He is a graduate of St. Edmond High School, Iowa Central Community College &amp; Southern New Hampshire University.
