Waiting on God stretches our trust in Him, especially when we are urgently longing for His intervention or guidance in a situation.\u00a0 From our earthly perspective and with our limited knowledge, it may seem as if He doesn\u2019t care, but that is far from the truth.
God uses times of waiting to strengthen our trust in Him, and reminding ourselves of His character and abilities helps build confidence in our Father.\u00a0 So as we wait, we must remember:
* The Lord has all-encompassing knowledge of every detail of our circumstances.
*\u00a0He has complete understanding of the motives and intentions of everyone involved in our situation.
*\u00a0God\u2019s power is greater than all our efforts to solve our problems.\u00a0No one else can prevent His plans.
*\u00a0His eye is always on us during the wait, and He is our help and protection.
*\u00a0His lovingkindness continually rests upon us.
Whenever overcome with a sense of urgency or uncertainty, we must remember who God is and what He has promised to do for us.\u00a0 Although He may not work everything out as we desire, it will be according to His perfect wisdom and for our good \u2014and in this we can rejoice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From heaven the Lord looks down and sees all mankind; from his dwelling place he watches all who live on earth\u2014-he who forms the hearts of all, who considers everything they do.\u00a0 No king is saved by the size of his army; no warrior escapes by his great strength.\u00a0 A horse is a vain hope for deliverance; despite all its great strength it cannot save.\u00a0 But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine.\u00a0 We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield.\u00a0 In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name.\u00a0 May your unfailing love be with us, Lord, even as we put our hope in you.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because God is Creator, Lord, Savior, and Deliverer, he is worthy of our trust and praise.\u00a0 Because he is faithful and his word is dependable, we can rejoice and give thanks and praise.\u00a0 During today\u2019s unusual circumstances we must remember that God is completely trustworthy.\u00a0 Our hope is in God. \u00a0Key thought:Place our hope in God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
