READING ROMANS BACKWARDS BIBLE STUDY<\/u><\/strong><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The adult Bible study group will meet on Monday, January 24, at 10 a.m. in Conference Room 100<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(by the kitchen). We are studying Romans 16 and are gaining a new perspective by reading it<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WANTED: CHILDREN\u2019S MINISTRY VOLUNTEERS<\/u><\/strong><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are looking for individuals who love Jesus and love kids to serve in our children\u2019s ministry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We need a weekly volunteer for our Preschool-1 st grade Ignite classroom, and volunteers willing<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to serve on a monthly basis for Family Team Time. You must pass a background check to serve<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SANCTUARY CHOIR<\/u><\/strong> rehearsals will continue on Sundays at 7:30 a.m. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

FAMILY TEAM TIME<\/u><\/strong><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are test-running a new Sunday School program called Family Team Time. Families with<\/p>\n\n\n\n

preschool-6th grade children are welcome to learn about Jesus together in the upstairs preschool<\/p>\n\n\n\n

classroom from 10:20-10:50 on Sunday mornings. Please contact Emily Wikner at<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FIRST COMMUNION CLASSES<\/u><\/strong><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

First communion classes Started on January 19th<\/sup> and will continue on January 26th<\/sup>, February 2nd<\/sup> and 9th from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in the St. Olaf choir room. If you believe your child is spiritually mature enough to take their first communion, you are welcome to sign them up for this class by contacting Emily Wikner atchristianedemily.stolaffd@gmail.com or at 515-576-2013.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SALVATION ARMY<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Salvation Army is collecting new Socks and Underwear. Donation box will be placed under the van\/flower\/radio signup sheet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LORD\u2019S CUPBOARD NEEDS OUR HELP<\/u><\/strong><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lord’s Cupboard gets eggs in flats every Friday. Egg cartons are needed to give out to clients. Please put them in the Lord’s Cupboard shopping cart in the narthex along with your other donated items. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

CAN YOU HELP WITH SNOW REMOVAL?<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Property Committee is in need of volunteers for snow removal this winter. If you have a snow blade and would be able to push snow in front of the church your help would be appreciated.
